eam Ollie is a mid-distance sled dog racing kennel focused on the AKC-registered siberian husky. The kennel is located in beautiful Willow, AK, home to some of the best mushing and mushers in the world.

Though it seems like a lifetime ago, we were located in Massachusetts. We got fed up with the inadequate trail access, consistently terrible snow conditions, and the overall lack of quality training. So we packed up the livestock and headed north. We settled in Willow next to good friends, built a house, and are now starting to step into Alaskan mid-distance racing with an Iditarod entry as a goal.

This season will marks a first for us, as every dog in the training pool was born in our kennel. The older dogs did their job and helped us train the new leaders, and we're watching these amazing athletes take their places. We have no doubt that they'll fill their booties and then some. It's been an incredible learning experience raising this crop, and we're really looking forward to seeing what they can do.

So with a big grin, a small wallet, and a can of Copenhagen, we embark on the most exciting season for this kennel to date. It's quite a change training in Alaska as opposed to out east, and we are adapting to it.
